What we do

We uplift and give hope...

Most of us in the United States have incredibly fortunate lives compared to the rest of the world but unfortunately, more than 38 million Americans are facing hunger and over a quarter of them are children. Not only that but a large portion of that 38 million are homeless or on the brink of homelessness. Many Americans are ashamed and blame themselves but the reality is that the system is broken and no American should have to resort to permanently living in their car or a motel. That is why we are here to help solve those issues by lending our support.

We give...

Our programs & services

Our programs and services are designed to help anyone experiencing homelessness or lack of resources connect with solutions that best fit their unique situation. Whether you need emergency services like meals and shelter, or access to our youth programs for low-income, at-risk children and teens or a more long-term solution like our rehabilitation and transitional programs, we are here to help and we will try our best to meet your needs.

Provide food

Hunger affects all groups of people regardless of education level, employment status, or ethnicity. In the United States, more than 38 million people are facing hunger – and of them 12 million are children. Often, many people who work, even families with two incomes, cannot make ends meet or put enough nutritious food on the table.  The Kind Hearted Company provides food services consisting of bags of groceries, sack lunches, prepared meals, and food distribution to low-income, food-insecure individuals and families through our food pantries and care package efforts.

Provide housing

The Kind Hearted Company tackles the root causes of homelessness to transform the lives of men, women, and children. Through our emergency shelter and bridge and crisis housing programs, homeless individuals are offered a safe haven and the tools needed to lead self-sufficient lives. By way of our homeless prevention programs, which typically include case management and financial assistance, at-risk individuals and families are able to regain stability in their current housing. And through counseling, education, job training, and support, those who were once homeless prepare for independent futures.

Provide education

Protecting and empowering the next generation is essential to a just society. For healthy development, children need security, stability, healthy lifestyles, guidance, and mental stimulation. Strengthening families is fundamental. Our youth programs for low-income, at-risk children and teens provide a positive structure and learning opportunities and activities that enhance their education, foster creativity, and brighten their horizons. Internships, job training, and placement prepare at-risk youth for America’s future workforce.
